Donate

FASS helps many vulnerable people deal successfully with extremely harmful difficulties that arise from alcohol and drug misuse and from social isolation from others. We help people address their concerns, find practical solutions and ultimately move on to a more productive better quality of life. We support them and their families on to safer and happy futures.

Through our small team of core staff and dedicated volunteers, we provide professional and cost-effective care to 1000 people per year. Making a donation could help provide someone with emergency counselling, therapeutic group work or practical support on day to day issues. Please help us to extend our quality services by donating what you can.

Fundraise

You can choose your own way to fundraise for FASS and it can be a great excuse for having fun! Why not get sponsorship to run a race, parachute jump or take part in a Zumbathon? You can use mydonate to gather sponsorship and advertise your event. They will not charge you commission or any other fees for this service and you can set your account up here.

Or you can organise a fundraising get-together. Why not host a coffee/bake morning, art auction, race night, five-aside tournament, craft fair, pamper evening, fashion show or jumble sale? Whatever you decide to do it would be great to hear about your event and see your pictures. If you want to get in touch about fundraising please contact mhairi.owens@fassaction.org.uk.

Volunteer

Volunteers make a great contribution to our services and their support is appreciated by both the charity and the people it seeks to help. There are also many benefits for the volunteer. For more information see our Volunteering page here.

Leave a legacy

A charitable legacy is when you leave money to a charity in your will. Anyone can choose to do this and it can give you profound satisfaction. While knowing your support will live on, it can also reduce inheritance tax on your estate.

FASS provides vital, sometimes life-saving support, for individuals and families in adverse circumstances. Our work is delivered by a team of dedicated, highly skilled staff and volunteers. With your help, we can continue to expand the support we are able to offer. Whatever size legacy you leave FASS in your will, you can be sure it will help change lives.

If you wish to leave a legacy to FASS, please discuss this with your solicitor. This will ensure that all legal requirements are met. If you want to inform or discuss this issue with FASS we’ll be very glad to hear from you. Please contact mhairi.owens@fassaction.org.uk.
